To anyone i offended yesterday with my ranting. I understand that this coaching staff is trying to win, and would do nothing to sabotage this team. They are coaches in the NCAA for a reason and they didnt get there because they think they know what they are doing. I was wrong to bash as hard as i did, my criticisms do not reflect my personality and i apologize to anyone i offended.

That being said, lets get out there this weekend and kick the Pigs ass and salvage what is left of this season, so we can look back on it and have something to build on next year.
    :geaux:

oh and i still believe that the 2 headed monster on defense needs to go.

This is a good post. You were pretty hard-core yesterday.

I'm happy that you realize that the coaches, more than anyone, want to win every game their team plays.

Nice comeback! I picked us 9-3 this year, said I would not be shocked at 8-4. I am disappointed that the team has not looked better in its loses. We lost RP, and the frosh & soph QB did not surprise to the upside, which they would have had to do in order for us to look better. Other teams didn't fear our passing attack, stacked the line, and our Sr. offensive line did not open holes for the RB's. The D has looked inexperienced and confused. We need improvement there.

Some folks say you can't criticize LSU on this site, and that's not true. We appreciate fair and balanced criticism. This is not one of the other "flame" boards dominated by kids. This board has a good balance of youth and "experience" :). I've read the other boards, and I like TF the best. The members self moderate at times, hopefully making it a little easier on the real mods.

We have some great posters from rival schools and they only add to the experience here at TF. They add to our experience, kind of like a good gumbo with some leftovers thrown in to spice it up, some things you would not normally expect to find in your gumbo. Trolls will be expelled.

We have a fun board, and many regular posters have invested of themselves over the years to make it and keep it that way. Spicy sometimes (like cajuns get), but we try to go back to fair and balanced after a while.

Stick around and enjoy the best LSU Tiger sports forum on the net!

No problem, nobody likes it when our team stumbles..

    There's a statement I can drink to...

I'm not crazy about it either. I say put em back at position coaching/recruiting and get ourselves a mercenary @ DC.. :hihi:

I try and adhere to a 24 hour rule after a game, win or lose. Vent, bitch, gripe, complain, moan, groan, second guess, critique, et al for 24 hours, then let it go and move on.

Sometimes it also helps to keep the hands off the keyboard for 24 hours.

No reason to apologise... frustration gets the best of all of us at times. I'm sure things are on the up and up this coming season, and MIles will right this ship where it needs to be righted. #1 in my book would be to get a DC that knows the D side of the ball better then he knows his wife.
