What happens if Mike Gundy decides to put Alabama 26th in his? Actually didn't Bob Stoops decide to put a rival 7th once? Or am I remembering things?
So? Media cries foul, indignation rings across the country. OK state has a chance at their first national championship, and I would imagine the prevailing attitude is somewhat "now or neverish" from a Big 12 team that isn't Oklahoma or Texas. And if he has one of those "win the national championship and become the highest paid coach in the world" clauses, there's an awful lot of money at stake.
Revealing of how other coaches think of Petrino's behavior of mouthing and pointing across the field, and the sore loser handshake with Miles.
Huh? According to what I saw and what is posted on the ESPN web site it is: LSU 1.00 Bama 0.9551 OSU 0.8712 Sorry had to increase the font so he could read it...
LOL.....funny......but...."This aint no movie son" Here in the real world....LSU finds a way to win!!
I approve this message. I'm sick of some of the gumps I know acting like it's a done deal. One of them told me an hour before the BCS show that it was going to become "official" for them going to the NCG last night. I reminded him that it wasn't official until next week and it kinda pissed him off. If anyone else gets in, there will be a meltdown in T-Town and I will be grinning from ear-to-ear. If it does end up in a rematch, then I say "bring it". I think we are better now than we were November 5 for a few reasons while I don't see where Bama has improved: We've beaten them once in their house, so our Tigers will be more confident and relaxed the second time. JJ has improved since then now that he's been the starter for a few weeks. Hilliard has stepped up and that extra beef is a little more of a challenge for the Bama linebackers plus gives us 5 RBs. TM7 is back on top of his game and he was off a little the first time. We've seen that Bama has a weakness in the option. We have ample time to correct the big mistakes we made like letting TR get wide open in the flat a few times. Miles will still have Saban guessing about whether or not we stay conservative or have some tricks up our sleeve. While it's supposed to be a neutral site, the Dome is home for LSU. :hihi: :geaux:
Good post from inside the southeast. I am out here on the west coast, and I can tell you that folks I talk to don't want to see the rematch, which is a different discussion than who deserves to go. No one out here is an OSU fan, but these people want to see if anyone can beat LSU, but to the extent of that conversation, most people out here are saying just hand the :crystal: to us now since we have basically beaten everyone this year. Good respect, especially from out here. Yes, there are plenty of haters here too, but you generally don't hear that face-to-face.
