    They only have 59 voters. We got all the first place votes.

    What's interesting is as many as 3 coaches don't think Alabama is the 2nd best team.

    13 of 25 in the South.

    When I was working at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn my manager and I tracked such things. I had open bets on: two top 25 teams, Southern Teams vs The Rest and we counted the number of Southern teams inhabited the Top 10 and Top 25. Come Bowl season I made Christmas money - primarily due to University of Miami and Florida State and the SEC playing non-conference foes.
