I am not concerned about the layoff. Remember how focussed and prepared the team was coming off the summer against Oregon with their crisp tackling? No doubt it is going to be tough against Bama, and the game can easily go either way. If this great LSU team plays to its potential, I am optimistic about the outcome. Hope the coaches can figure out how to attack the Bama defense more aggressively and score better than last time.
No Next question. You're over thinking it. You can scrap all the what if scenarios. I think LSU will win, I don't think it will be as close as the game in Tuscaloosa and I think there will much rejoicing afterwards. Get your butt to Bourbon because there's going to be a helluva party. :crystal:
Me too but encouraged by a few things: 1st the fast track in the SuperDome favors the Tigers (IMHO) 2nd The Tigers had gotten it done once and were looking good in OT. 3rd CLM will have them loose, whereas Saban probably won't have his guys as loose, especially if they mess up. 4th, The Honey Badger is back. and finally, LSU is playing a national championship game in New Orleans. That's been a pretty good formula lately. :geauxtige
This will be a good game. Bama will come to play, but LSU will pull away late. Saban will look like the angry little sideline gnome that he always has. I hope our guys aren't slipping on the astroturf like they did last week.
I am hanging my hat on this: 1) DOME Field Advantage. 2) A little gleam in Miles eyes during the Bowl Announcement. He's got this. How much "trickeration" have we seen this year? none. Wing called his own audible. Les has something up his sleeve. Saban knows it too- will he be able to stop it? We will see a defining play Jan. 9. And it will be more than just a fake FG...
