In the spring game Mett looked like the second coming of Peyton Manning. It was amazing. Not sure why we haven't seen that Mett this year.
Same here. I didn't like his attitude tonight either. Can't remember his name, but when the freshman right tackle got called for a false start, instead of Mett walking over to him, giving him a slap on the helmet and a little motivation, he walked away shaking his head in frustration.
Based on what you have seen the last two weeks you want to take any bets for where they end up this year??? I don't give a rat's ass about last year.............what I KNOW is that since the most embarassing game in LSU HISTORY there HAS BEEN NO SIGN OF IMPROVEMENT. What is REALLY DISGUSTING, the two largest problems against Alabama, still exist..............HORRIBLE QB decision making/play, and WTF offensive play calling ref the strengths and weaknesses of this team.
What a bunch of emotional little 14 yr old girls. Sometimes players aren't sharp. Sometimes teams aren't motivated. Sometimes underdogs play over their heads. Sometimes matchups favor the opponent. that's the good news. The bad news is that sometimes new QBs take a year to hit their stride. And sometimes they never pan out. And ALWAYS every program at the top has to come down. Can't you just wait until the team actually loses until you start whining and throwing around talk of pulling the QB, clm sucks, stud sucks, the OL sucks? I'm gonna wait until they lay an egg next week til I bitch. Most of you act like this is your seconds season of following LSU football.
"Most" act as though we've been intently following LSU for the entirety of Les Miles' time in Baton Rouge. The above post really goes quite a ways in exemplifying the never ending cliches that so many LSU fans always carry in their back pocket. That cache of cliches always lies just a snatch away and at the ready to spill forth in order to excuse another awful performance by a Les Miles coached team.
