Miami has a young QB and almost definitely less talent than us but they are running a hell of an offense including passing down field. They are cutting up GT 24-3 and there is a lot of time left in the 3rd quarter. Maybe their offense is much less complex than ours so the young guys can actually run it without years of experience? I doubt it. I have to say I sure wish we looked like that. Also they are doing a really good job with the wishbone except the 1st drive and they only had a week to prepare. Just sayin.

Gotta give LaSalle props because he predicted Miami to do well. I thought they would definitely lose their first 2 games but they are laying an azz beating on GT. GT's offense is putrid.

this is going to get moved into the other thread anyway, so here goes.

The interesting thing about Miami and LSU since you mentioned us as well, Jacory Harris is a soph. who has started 4 games in college. In High School he went 30-0 as a starter. Jordan Jefferson is a soph. who has started 4 games in college. JJ was 28-0 in high school as a starter.

I really like this kid, i cant even begin to tell you how impressive Jacory Harris is. He is throwing some beautiful passes, and Miami has like 3 wide receivers that are 6'3" and a tight end that is like 6'7". They are very young, and Shannon has taken alot of heat, there are alot of people that post here that have been really down on this guy, but he has been recruiting very well, and its starting to show. Plus this guy the OC Whipple, has done a great job. The Canes look good. Its 33-17 right now, in the 4th with 6 minutes left, i called 24-17 Miami, i didnt think they would get off to such a fast start, but Harris was lights out in FSU game, and he has been really good in this game too.

thanks! The Canes looked really good, and surprisingly enough ran the ball really well also. Miami looks good this season, i think they are at least a top 15 team. They will have a big test next week against Virginia Tech, they get 9 days to prepare they had 10 to prepare for this game. Then in an old school college football match up, the sooners come to town.

Miami had 10 days to prepare, while GT was playing its 3rd game in less than two weeks. GT had beaten Miami four year straight before this, so you know Miami had a huge chip on their shoulder.

Remember, LSU beat GT 38-3, Miami only beat them 33-17. And LSU was not very good last year (we didn't even finish in the Top 25). Also LSU was playing them in Atlanta (home of Georgia Tech), while GT had to play Miami at Miami's home stadium.

Also, GT's best player, ACC Offensive Player of the Year Jonathan Dwyer, got knocked out of the game due to injury.

As for talent, Miami has slightly less talent than we do, and they were favored to win.
