    I agree with him, but I think way too many Americans are now fully invested in the politics of winning at all cost. TC's solutions involve too much compromise for them.

    It's not about compromise. It's about saving the republic. That will take measures in the opposite direction. I suppose much of that is why trump is in office. The silent majority is aware it's one generation from going belly up.
