Something tells me that the coaches waiting a little to offer Randle will hurt us and he may go to Miami.
The offer doesnt mean very much, he knew he was getting one. He isnt a lock, but I wouldn't want to be any of the other schools in the race.
I am not worried about him going elsewhere. He is enjoying the recruiting process like most of the top prospects. Can't wait to see him in Purple and Gold.
the last big high profile recruit from LA that LSU got was Perrilloux. so yeah. let the coaches do their thing and the law of averages will work itself out in LSU's favor. We might lose a few, but we'll get our share, too.
Randle has had an offer since February, not long after the 2007 season ended. That is not a long wait. It will have absolutely no effect on his decision.
There are going to be a lot of anxious moments with Randle between now and signing day, and honestly nothing is set in stone about whether we will land him. He is going to look around and he will especially look at Miami VERY closely. In the end, I think chances are he will stay in Louisiana and be a Tiger, but I wish I can't say that with a lot of confidence.
I think the only way he is not ours is he has a monster year at QB and wants to play QB in college. If he is happy at WR he is all LSU.
