This has been circulating around the state of AL for about a week now. He's supposed to have interviewed with Miles last week.

If you guys thought Steele was a bad hire...

LSU has been in contact with him and I believe an offer is on the table. I would love the hire for recruiting alone. This would put us over what we had recruiting wise last year with Frank on staff. Auburn fans are freaking out about it. Don't know much about his skills as a WR coach.

How about him as QB coach and move Ensminger to WR and TE?

LSU doesn't use it's WRs, how bad could it be? I imagine he would be mainly a recruiting addition.

According to a news report he is co-offensive coordinator in addition to a WR coach at Auburn. He makes $500,000 base pay plus maximum incentives of $220,000. By contrast Tony Ball made $325,000. We would have to pony up more cash.
