In the post game presser, he was down on Harris and gave faint praise to Etling. I think he wants to blame the QB position for his failure as coach.
In the LSU -vs- Wisconsin post last week, I posted "no fire". LSUpride123 quoted my post and replied like an asshole with "pft". It's cool LSUpride123. But I was trying to make a point. Last night I saw "fire" in the offense for the first time in many games. It was when Etling took over QB. No, they weren't perfect, but damn well better than they've been under Harris. Miles says they're gonna "look at the film"... hell look at the film? Look at the change in attitude of your players that took place right before your eyes in the game! LSU actually got yardage, moved the ball. I would love to know what the players themselves really think. Next week, at home against Miss., is a good opportunity to let Etling start and see how he does.
Etling won't start, Miles is already using coach speak to indicate Harris will start and he was not giddy over Etling's performance and his resurrection of the offense. This guy has lost all residual loyalty I may have had for him. We all knew he was a little crazy and stubborn, but something else has to be going on with the way he has acted thus far this season.
Tiger fans need to make their disdain for Les very apparent if he starts Harris, which i feel he will also. I'm so sick of this dude and his screwed up way of doing things. He really is the most stubborn person in college football. Even stubborn ass Saban recognized his offensive philosophy was old and dated and needed to be given completely to someone else. That's really sad, and you can tell Lane runs that offense by himself because Saban chewed his ass out on the final Bama possession when the motion guy fumbled the ball.
I thought he was and now I'm pretty sure. The team played like it and it was pretty obvious that once a change was made, the team as a whole responded. We'll know more when he benches White. Etling...with the red eyes. Was that just me?
