Man, les seemed dejected and unwilling to give etling any props. I thought LaSalles comment in game how les looked unhappy after etling had success was ridiculous (even though I thought the same thing when they showed a closeup of him at that moment) where he really looked irritated. then we just listened to the presser. ill be damned if it didnt sound exactly like that. He said etling should have checked down on the long throw and sorta threw him under the bus like I never heard les do. It was weird. He was irritated. I really think Les would rather be right than have fucking success. He enacted his 3 play playbook in the 2nd half and shut down all creativity which had led to efficiency and production on offense. Is this dude really sabotaging his own team? I always thought it was unintentional.
Miles can go fuck himself. I heard that too after the game. Go listen to his post game pressed after his loss last week and he specifically dodged throwing any shade on Harris.
Biggest thing I heard in the press conference was when asked if the offense changed when etling came in he said "no it's the same offense we've been running for as long as I can remember."
Miles looks like more of a dick after playing Etling, than if he had not! Only morons are not asking him "WTF?"
I haven't seen the presser yet, but his on field interview was disturbing to me. It appears happy go lucky Les is gone. And frankly, his fun loving personality is the only reason I'm not walking around with a "FIRE LES MILES" shirt. It's such a shame that such a great man is so stubborn that he seemingly would rather fail than adjust to the times.
Miles, you got to be fucking kidding me. The entire nation of college football was like, "oh snap, LSU got QB figured out." Les is sitting over here with his finger teeming his ear like, "Harris' poor widdle feelings." How in the hell did Etling not see the field last week? If Les pulls a Lee/JJ and puts Harris back in, not sure how I'll be able to cope. Is it any more clear where the problem lies? Do not fuck this up Les.
I felt the same way about his half time interview, he looked and acted disappointed that his back up QB took an offense that gained 12 yards in the 1st quarter and basically put the game away by leading the same offense to three touchdowns and almost 200 yds in the 2nd. I have been pretty much ambivalent toward Miles in the past, but right now I don't care if we win out (which we won't) and stomp a mud hole in the Gumps (which we won't) he needs to be gone, the sooner the better. Shane, where do I sign up for senior minion benefits?
