This is what my bookcase looked like before I filled it up I guess it is too late, I keep doing something wrong. And I am trying to watch the softball World Series.
Right now all I have is a guest room with Advocate posters on the wall. I also have the SI NC cover framed on the wall as well. My plan is to do something when me and the family move into a bigger house, which is at least another year away.
great paint job, loco. i don't have an lsu room, but i have a lot of lsu stuff in my office. although not nearly enough stuff. i guess i'll have to work on that. :grin:
loco, awesome brushwork. I got a question about the paint... Am about to undertake a similar project. I recently bought some LSU licensed or trademark paint. There are 6 different LSU colors offered.The purple is great but the moron at Home Depot gave me the licensed antique gold (has a greenish tint that I'm not crazy about) rather than the bright gold I asked for. Anyway, back to the question...Is that the collegiate licensed Glidden paint that Home Depot carries ? Whatever you used sure looks great. Thanks.
yes.. its the official purple and gold...Did a tape job for the lines... painted white first, then taped off the white areas, painted yellow inside of them, and purple outside... ... of course, since the wall is textured, it bled through in a bunch of spots... So I got the girlfriend, who has a much more steady hand than I do, to go back with a flat "art" brush and touch up... she did a good job... I am thinking about finding a good painting to add.. maybe a tiger bursting though the wall or something... The way I plan to do that is to use an lcd projector from work, then simply project and trace the image...
