Maybe the bye week so late is a bad thing, you know the more season pans out the more evident it becomes that LSU's schedule was created by someone that obviously hates LSU. I mean no bye until late, taking Kentucky off the schedule and replacing with Georgia early in the season. Then another bye week 2 or 3 weeks after a bye week. 2 trips to Mississippi, a trip to Athens and Tuscaloosa, then the other big game at home it's a 2:30 game. We were doomed from the outset.
Man were you drinking when you posted this? Somebody just didn't "take Kentucky off our schedule and replaced them with Georgia". We rotate out 2 SEC East teams and Georgia's time to rotate started this year. I would rather go to Mississippi twice vs playing in Gainesville.
I'm not sure about that. I believe when they had to reshuffle the schedules to accommodate Mizzou and A & M, Alabama was miraculously able to drop UGA for Kentucky and we got to drop Kentucky for UGA. Nothing to see here, folks--it's perfectly fair and balanced.
This is correct. As a result othe bridge scheduling we dropped our normal rotation of Kentucky, and picked up UGA.
Alabama was supposed to have Georgia this year. We haven't played UK since 2008, we played UGA in 2009. This was our year to get UK and for some reason we got UGA. So let me ask you this, if Georgia is supposed to be in the rotation this year, why aren't they on our schedule for next year, because we damn sure didn't play then in 2012.
LSU's record with Les Miles after a bye is 5-3* as best I can tell.. It's Monday, I've been known to make some mistakes on Monday. The * was the year of the not soon to be forgotten Monday night game against Tennessee after Katrina. Not technically after a bye, though it was 16 days after our previous game. Take from that what you will.
