The DB's are playing better, the LB's seem to be the weakness(according to some) , should we fire the LB coach?

Yes the DBs are playing better, let's hope it continues on that arc.

We will soon find out Saturday.

The amount of talent we have recruited on the back end should have us playing lights out, inexperience or not (we've been in this same position before with ineperience with the DBs and didn't have issues like we have had this season). You either coach em up or coach them in such a way that they are destined to fail way too often.

Florida wasn't a test in the passing game.

Ole Miss has a couple of great receivers in Moncrief and Treadwell. We struggled mightily on the backend against MSU, who doesn't sport the same receivers Ole Miss is presenting us with.

I look forward to the challenge. At the same time, I won't be surprised if Wallace throws for over 300 yards.

Barrow and Welter were mediocre recruits that we have tried to coach up. Kwon Alexander was highly touted and would have been much more highly touted if not for a torn up knee in his senior season in high school). So it's no surprise he has been our best LB this season. Barrow has athletic ability, but I question his football IQ and instincts. I don't need to expound on Welter.

So the LB coach has a much different challenge than does the DB coach (lack of talent vs lack of experience).

I've been saying this defense is a work in progress, its getting there. It helped when the front 4 was getting pressure on the QB. Mixing blitz packages, keeping them off balance.

The move to have Eugene blitz off the edge has been crucial. Hunter off the other edge had finally given us dual edge rushers we have sorely lacking. Even Rasco is playing his best football by far.

Add on Barrow, Ego and Freak finally playing with some passion has obviously helped.

The front 4 making a push helps the DB's. Jalen Mills came off the edge and made a play.

Logic means, valid reasoning. Maybe I missed something?

There were firsts in the Fla game Saturday night for three defensive players, anyone want to guess?
