We're going to be in Seattle for the game and want to party/tailgate for the game in a cool boat? One of my friends going on one with 100 people but it's already full. :geaux:

We're looking for info on "boat tailgating" for the washington game. We'll be in Seattle all week and we want to party for the game.:tigereye:

yeah, thanks. I've eaten there several times for "brunch" and it's really good (my wife is from Seattle). What i was really looking for was an LSU fan(s) that are on a "party boat" that still has room, to hook up join them.:geauxtige:tigereye:

    thanks for the info, Alan!:geauxtige

You are coming up to Seattle at a fantastic time of the year. The weather early in the football season is almost always beautiful. Our stadium is a relic, but the setting is 100% second to none. Right on Lake Washington with a view of Mt. Rainier...breathtaking. If you're lucky, you may even see a bald eagle soaring around. They've been known to perch right above Highway 520, which is within view of Husky Stadium.

Anyway, there are a number of options for you. The best is probably Argosy Cruise Lines (google their number). They are big out here and do all sorts of boat cruises, including to the Husky's game. There's one that starts at Fishermen's terminal. You can get a great brunch at Chinook's restaurant beforehand, then hop right onto the boat for a cruise to the game.

I've got a 20 foot runabout myself and will be taking it to the LSU game as well. It will most likely be the smallest boat out on the lake that day:)

Hope you enjoy your stay out here. We're hoping for a major upset!

I can't afford an airplane ticket for my 22 foot bay boat. They told me I would have to buy a ticket for every seat the boat would use

Chinook's isn't taking reservations for their boat until Aug 1st. I called yesterday, just an FYI.

No problem plantman. Here's another idea. You can rent a boat yourself and have your own party. Keep in mind, however, that the game does not start until 7:30pm, and I'm not sure about overnight rentals. You may be able to drop the boat off at the dock after hours. It certainly would be an experience. It's also a little pricy, but if you get ten people, you could split the cost.

    Hope you have a blast.
