Did anyone see the promo on the Bears / Packers game last night when they introduce the offense / defense of each team at the start of the game?

Charles Tillman - "The University of Louisiana"

This kind of reminds me of the St Bernard/Plaquemines "da parish" claim.

Each one calls itself "da parish". So when someone says they're from "da parish", I always smile and ask "exactly which "da parish are you from?":)

I think that dropping the second L from ULL is childish...so childish that I hope Jindal combines all the universities under the LSU system for the sake of parsimony (been readin' da dictionary again). Then we can get rid of duplicitous major programs. Do we need all those schools of architecture and departments of biology?

Once that is accomplished, the LSU board of regents can then shut down all those superfluous football teams and there will never again be a question of "Which University of Louisiana did you play for?"

LSU...the one, true, and only University of Louisiana !!!!:thumb:.

I do not believe ULL beating K-State is the reason the Cajuns will play LSU tough. I believe this is a bad LSU team and ULL will keep it close for 3 quarters.
I have watched both teams play, LSU has much better talent on to Lines but ULL has a better passing game than LSU. This where I think LSU will be surprised. Hope Im Wrong.

I haven't had a signature in awhile. I'm gonna save that one for the rest of the season and we'll see how right you are. Because that's a bold statement, right there.

If this was a really bad LSU team, we probably wouldn't have beat Vandy by two TDs in the rain. I know the Cajuns are 2-0, but I'll be very surprised if they keep it close for three quarters. They may score a few points, but I'll be surprised if they can really stop us on O. If the past is the best indicator of the future as they say, it doesn't look to good for the Cajuns.

Wow, Dan, you're just makin' friends all over Tiger Forums tonight.

BTW, for which Tigers do you count yourself a fan?

    Just curious.

I know you're entitled to your opinion.

I may not understand a word you say, but I'll fight to the death to defend your right to confuse me.
