And no, gump fans are the absolute worst at gloating, by far, hands down!

I read one thread where they were ripping Mathieu. Unfortunately he is the scapegoat for their loss. Didn't think it was that bad of a foul. Definitely worth a penalty but dirty? Dont think so. Just landed awkward.

Here it is if you wanna read.
What do you think of Mattheu?

I, for one, don't care what the Gumps think of Matthieu and I certainly don't want to read them trashing him beyond reason.

I don't think any of us gumps believe the tm-7 hit cost us the game. Don't know how that would affect the outcome any. Been more talk about the interception if not called that would have changed the game than anything. Was some talk about was the foul post possession or not and where does possession change on a punt. But that obviously wouldn't have guaranteed points.

But if you go back and watch the replay or look at the photo's it clearly wasn’t a blow to the head, he grabbed his shoulder pads.

Same for that interception, if it wasn’t an Int it was a ff and fumble recovery, Eric Reid’s arm was between the ball and Williams chest, which is why he stripped it away from him so easily, it was a poor throw and a hell of a play by Reid. Go find the pics,

I agree, the Reid interception was critical, the Mathieu holding was not.

The Reid interception was a close call by the refs and it was backed up by the replay official and the SEC referee supervisor, so I have to think that they got it right.

My thoughts on the pick, even if Williams had possesion, Reid was in the process of stripping it out before they hit the ground
