And I would like to add that "nega-tiger" may be the dumbest Fucking moniker I have ever seen in my life. I mean really wtf is that? If you use that term you should just do the world a favor and eat a box of rat poison with a quart of milk.
There have been some really crazy monikers over the years. Like sunshine pumper, or pumper, for instance. But that's neither here nor there. I'm in the camp of not wishing LSU to Lose. Just my personal preference. I get that it doesn't make sense, but I don't want them to lose. Just like I won't root for Alabama. It's a contradiction, but I find life is full of these silly things. Edited for spelling
There are many posts in many threads over the last several years where people said they wanted us to loose enough that Miles would get fired. It's not like you have to do deep research to find a post like that. If that's not you fine, don't get your feelings hurt. But you can't deny other posters have made comments like that. There have been conversations where people are willing to have a horrible year so Les gets fired. I'm not one of those. If someone thinks that means they have superior football knowledge or deeper purple blood than me I don't care. If someone thinks I'm satisfied or (this is my favorite) 'willing to accept mediocrity' then you're not paying attention. But to answer your original question lets put it out there. Who would have been OK with losing to Auburn, Miss St, and TAMU (0-6 in SEC West) liked to lose to A&M and the bowl game last year so if that that Miles would have been fired? How about this year - same question.
I knew I should have gone to catholic school. Instead I was stuck in public having to do Sweet Tawney Rotten-Crotch under the stands.
I just saw your post here this evening. I wasn't talking about you because I remember very clearly your position -- exactly as you describe it today. After the two November losses you were ready to support a change at HC and would not argue to retain him. Now, after the Jimbo to LSU thing did not happen, I can't recall the majority view -- still fire Les with no replacement at hand? My position was keep him because he was better than the unknown, once Jimbo wasn't going to be the immediate replacement.
LSU would be better off if they had fired him and Cam and just let Harris draw plays up in the dirt before each snap.
