OK math genius. PROBLEM (A) - If team X wins 40 games and loses 22 games how many games did they play? (hint add 40 and 22) PROBLEM (B) - How do you calculate team X's winning percentage? (hint divide number of wins by total games played) PROBLEM (C) - What is team Xs winning percentage? (Hint 40/62) If your answer to (C) is your previous answer of 55%, you should go light your Fuckstick and smoke it.
I'm pretty much aligned with Stacy on last year and this year. Although, I might make it a SEC title or bust. Depends on what the East champ looks like when (if) we play them. A strong 2nd place in the West (1 SEC loss) might be OK. Depends on how it happens. However I'll never be like some here and hope for losses so Miles will be fired.
I have always wondered, do those in charge of the program care as much about winning titles and games or is it about ticket sales and all that money stuff. Because unless we Have more than 2 seasons with shit records, I don't see donors pulling donations and ticket sales dropping.
I think they care about titles but job one is make the budget work. And my guess is that even if ticket sales are 100% that doesn't pay the nut. No shows are a problem because of concessions, and of course then there is the all important donor dollars. I think until there is a money scare the AD won't make a move because the devil he knows might not be as bad as the devil named Curley.
There are few that truly desire so and I am at peace with that. Rather most of us come to expect a product that breeds failure. Therein lies the difference.
And just who are those folks, just so we can clear the air. I say this with the absolute best of intentions. I say this because no one has been harping for miles to hit the bricks louder than I have yet I guarantee you that you can't produce a post where I said I "hope" we lose. You will find many where I might think we lose or predict a loss but never a day in my life have I ever wished LSU to lose a game. I'd bet that holds true for the rest of the anti miles crew. I get it that there are some folks here who have waited a long time for "The golden age" of LSU football as my amigo @red55 loves to call it. All I can say to that is if mediocre or somewhere just below is "golden age" then someone should help you zero your standards rifle because that shit is missing the bullseye by a lot. Please don't get your feelings hurt and run off to find folks that only see it your way. I'd rather you (figuratively not you specifically) stick around and have a spine and stand up for what you believe. If you feel attacked because someone has a different point of view then I'm not sure what to tell you (again not you specifically) unless the shoe fits. In the end some act like the 10 to 15 here are the only ones on the planet that notice something is wrong. Jonathan Coachman, a freaking WWE turned ESPN radio dude drug Les across the coals today. Wake up. If you know ANYTHING about football or competition the problems are not at all difficult to spot. Those of us that can don't "hate" LSU or Les for that matter, in fact it is the opposite. Have a nice day!
