who besides the leftist lunatics believes the liberal media would report in any real fairness of who and what hillary clinton is or does. they have shit tons of timely information from now til election day.

i already said trump had a decent shot if he shut his mouth but make no mistake. they will never handle hillary like they are trying to do with trump. they are in the bag for her. but the right knows going in they have to beat the media too. thats why trump is such a buffoon. he doesn't care.

 

Paul Krugman's OP-ED piece today in the NYT, contains this line:
"What does matter is that they were willing to curry favor with bigots in the service of tax cuts for the rich and financial deregulation."
The "they" is the GOP mainstream, and it is true. This is the problem, the GOP has enlisted bigots, racists, xenophobes, anybody and everybody, but they are really only really interested in giving the ultra rich more money. The rest is just a smoke screen to swell the ranks!

There is justice in that HWR. The Rs have been too cozy with some. More to their troubles has been their embrace of a new Jacobin element that brooks no compromise.
Krugman is being disingenuous though. He has cast EVERY recent Republican in the same light and terms as he does Trump. He even called Romney dangerous and unfit. Krugman is brilliant but he is one of the most ideological leftists around.

@tirk and I were just discussing this very thing. That point was even brought up and that while a "theory" given his friendship with them in the past it certainly holds water. I've never run for any office ever and even I would know to not only keep my mouth shut when an opponent is floundering but more importantly, not go into such a taboo area like GS shit. It defies logic.

 

The question is "what does Trump want that he is willing to make a national idiot of himself?" He is already a billionaire, or at least close enough to it to live like one. You would think his enormous ego would keep him from saying stupid shit on purpose knowing that it will make him look bad.

 

Bruh, there are people that will do unspeakable shit for $5 in the seedy parts of L.A. and various other big cities. Donald Trump already has enough money to not give a rats ass what any of us think of him.
