I hope you're right. Since I've been on Tigerforums, you've been right on the money. I'm all fired up now. Let's get Brown signed up, OT Matt Patcham, a stud DB from Florida and several stud WR/ATH's and we'll be good to go. :crystal: :geauxtige :crystal: :geauxtige :crystal:
You're more confident than I am. I've made a few prognostications about players and haven't been wrong yet but I'm 50/50 on AB. Seeing the field is important to him I'm sure but PC offering #55 is no different than telling him he will play his first year. A good relationship with his position coach is key. I know Ken Norton is the man out here. Who is LSU's LB coach and does he recruit well? Who will be accompanying CLM for the in-home? Those visits are important as well.......last chance to sway the parents too.
Seen miles had the last in-home visit and brought two assistants. Brown's "advisor" said it went well so hopefully it will turn out to me seeing him on campus in the spring semester.
with the knowledge youve shown in here with your posts...Im sure you know who our LB coach is and his current situation. :thumb:
btw....Coaches Bradley Dale Peveto and Larry Porter accompanied CLM in ABs last in home visit. AB said visit went great. USC was supposed to come in tomorrow but they are not going to be able too," Butler said. "They are going to do it over the phone and that will be the last deal after they are done with the phone. Brown will announce his decision next Monday December 17. Appears its down to Florida, LSU, Miami, North Carolina and USC.
You give me far too much credit. Okay, so it's Peveto. I have no idea what his situation is other than he's taken some heat for special teams. He's certainly had some outstanding talent to work with over the last few years and that should be a plus. I also realize what Mr. Butler said and I'll wait for final word but I understand that while the visit wasn't at AB's house, there was an in-person visit, just not on the phone. Wherever he goes, he'll be welcomed and I expect a great career.
according to who? Pelini has hired 8 of 9 on his staff...the only position left to fill is RB coach, so unless BDP changes over to offense, I wouldn't look for him to leave. Bo took 2 GAs with him to Nebraska.
He's an excellent coach...special teams have struggled this year and some last, but his first year they were as good as we've had in a long time and his past coaching stops have all been very successful. He's been a successful ST coach before and a very very successful DC before. He is a very good recruiter though, that's for sure.
