McFadden and Co. isn't the best place to "Wet your feet" and the team was struggling. He'll be okay.

I hope so, but like I said McFadden had nothing to do with the play. It was the slow fullback who ran right by him because he overran the play. He was standing behind a pile of people where he couldn't see a thing. The ball carrier wasn't going to emerge from the pile, but he didn't have the instincts to fill the hole. He was caught in no man's land, he didn't pursue outside where the fake to McFadden was, and he didn't fill the hole where the fullback carried the ball. I really feel like we need faster, attacking linebackers in the mold of Highsmith in the future, so we can cover backs out of the backfield better and match up one on one with teams running the wild hog type formations. We need sure tacklers with speed even if they are undersized.

I agree, Cutrera looked very slow and lost and I dont think it was because we were playing Arky.

And I like our chances with Brown. He announces in a week, I think. If it really is down to LSU/USC I think he chooses us because our depth at LB, or lack there of.

Cutrera looked just as bad against Ole Miss. This goes way beyond McFadden making him look bad.

    Back on topic.......:yelwink2:

Urban Creyer is heading to his in-home with Arthur and is bringing Timmay's daddy, Preacher Tebow. Arthur's parents have said they want a school with a strong spiritual atmosphere. Apparently Mr. Tebow is allowed to visit under NCAA rules as one of the spiritual advisors for the team. Perhaps his time would be better spent at home ministering to the Gator flock who have amassed 12 arrests this year....so far.

I think USC and LSU are the top 2 right now...Florida has a lot of depth at LB and a lot of them are young. All of their starters at LB are also sophs. I think that hurts Florida a lot.

I will go on record as saying Arthur Brown commits to LSU.

It's based on need and seeing the field as a true freshman. He has that chance at LSU and will be a Tiger.
