Buddy, that is CLASSIC! WAYYYYYYYY before my time. I started following LSU baseball somewhere around 1991-1993. At least that is as far back as I can remember. I was only six years old during the 1991 season, but I still remember listening to Hawthorne call out names like Russ Johnson, Todd Walker, Armando Rios, Pat Garity, even Paul Byrd and Ronnie Rantz. Man, when I think back at all the players over the years... :bncry: GREAT memories!

showing my age, I have a LSU banner from childhood. It is signed by Ethan Martin, Greg Cook and Williy Sims ...LOL. I also have the 03 NC Sports Illustrated signed by Justin Vincent and the 07 NC Sports Illustrated signed by Highsmith, Doucet and K. Williams.

I have a basketball signed by Ethan Martin, Greg Cook, and Willie Sims... but it was when I was in my mid twenties. I hope your mother raised you to respect old age!

The coolest things I have is my LSU helmet signed by the 2007 team and an autographed photo of Pistol Pete. But the most sentimental things are a football signed by Coach Miles (with a personal note,) and a baseball signed by Ben McDonald with the same. Ben is probably my all time favorite baseball player from LSU, and Deceks7 got it signed for me at the College Baseball Hall of Fame. Other things I have are a bunch of signed mini-helmets, my favorite ticket stub (from the Oregon State game with the damn monsoon--you can barely tell what it was,) freakin' boxes of Advocate newspapers, hundreds of ticket stubs, TONS of signed baseballs, a game-worn Bert Jones jersey, an awesome limited edition LSU baseball signed personally by Skip, signed media guides, posters, pennants, uhmmm... lots of other "trinkets" and stuff. Also a signed basketball from Shaq from someone on this forum (whoever sent it, please LET ME KNOW!) I really appreciate that! But, I'm not sure who sent it to me. I also have a game ball signed by JV. A lfew things signed by Dale Brown. An SEC championship shirt signed by Stromile Swift. There are a LOT of other things I want to get though. I'm still young. :hihi:
