We'll revisit tomorrow evening or Sunday. Shockingly, YOU'RE in for a huge surprise. As an LSU fan, I figured you might've been paying attention to OUR team this year instead of TN. I couldn't care less what Poole did last year. He sucks NOW. I couldn't care less about them returning all the OL. They suck NOW. I couldn't care less about their defensive coordinator's resume. They suck NOW. I couldn't care less about their past recruiting prowess. They suck NOW.

You yourself acknowledged it, but fail to see. Against UF, they had negative rushing yardage when factoring sacks. LSU rushed for well over 200 yards against UF. They also had negative rush yardage against UGA. I PROMISE you LSU is the best rushing defense they will have seen to date.

They made their stats against Buffalo and Montana. Not happening against us. You bring up last year...LSU had umpteen turnovers in that game, and was TERRIBLE on offense that season to that point. Quit worrying about last year. We're a wee bit better on both sides of the ball.

Or are you superstitious to the point that you can't see the forest for the trees?

Good point. But this goat-doctor has SEC screened upside down. Not enuf Jim Beam/Pepto combos to deal with that! Asked him if he wanted to hear a scary story, he said sure. I said "Halftime".

OK, you were certainly right about some things, and I was wrong. Tauren Poole played a very good game, and their DL was much better than I expected.

Other than that...we still kicked their arses...and I'm not sure DaRick had a catch.

I enjoyed the game with my oldest son Jack (9). We had decent seats, upper level, but row 9, so not TOO high up. Good game experience at UT. I recommend a road trip if we ever revisit them at their place.

My daughters' school carnival was yesterday. My husband said it was time to go to the carnival when the 1st quarter ended. I told him that he could go and I'd walk over at halftime (only 3/4 of a mile or so). I didn't want to go at halftime, either, but I did, dvr'ing the remainder.

I crept away from the carnival around 5:45 and walked back home to see a nice half of utter LSU domination.
