I really cannot think of anything that would prevent us from beating down TN just like we did FL (maybe even worse). I know sometimes there is a tendency to "sleep walk" through a game like this, but I have to say that this squad is incredibly focussed and well coached so I do not believe that will be an issue. That has been a huge positive this year, and I have thouroughly enjoyed it. It seems Miles has broken the "play to the level of your competition" tendency that has haunted us for several years.

TN has a mediocre rushing defense (#55), mediocre passing defense (#33), far more inferior than what we faced vs Florida. I think our offense remains steady in this game.

They are allowing nearly 2 sacks per game and have no running game (#114), the starting QB is out and Sims likes to throw to other teams just as much as he likes throwing to his own. Things could get really ugly for TN on offense.

    This will be a blowout.

Seems like it could be a trap game, but I don't think so. I agree that CLM has the team focused on one game at a time, and we really shouldn't have any problems putting this TN team away. Let's strike early and often, and maybe ZM gets some reps.

The only time I feel there is a trap game is in the minds of the fans. I don't think this team takes any game lightly this year. These guys are on a mission.

I would really like to see Mett on the field as well.

I think you're right -- the fans (and media for that matter) are more apt to think this way. The team is able to focus on the task at hand and will continue to do so.

The only way Tenn is in this game is if we commit turnovers. Without turnovers I don't see Tenn consistantly moving the ball against our offense. I have learned over the years to never say never but I don't see this Tenn team beating us. They possibly could scare us and make it close but not beating us. This Tiger team has too much talent and has showed a lot of focus this year.

it is a trap game. whether you believe they exist or not is not up for debate.

Coming off a big home sec win, traveling on the sec road with a shadow of 1 vs 2 to decide it all hype building like no ones ever seen hovering ahead. and they have revenge.

but when bray went down, it means thats out the window. mathieu will outscore them.

I believe trap games exist, but I also beleive we are pretty resilient to them this season.
