Any chance Landry and/or Beckham stay one more year?

I wouldn't discount Rivers as the starter next year either. He will have a full year under Cam. Jennings makes sense as the back up this year as he offers a change of pace, mobility if something were to happen to Zach. I don't worry about QB development near as much any more. We will also be able to recruit that position even better going forward is CC stays, which I think he will.

Go look up some of high school film, the guy is a quarterback that can run if he has to. I watching him going through progressions, looking off defenders at the high school level. That's pretty rare.

But who will he throw to? Suddenly, we're left with Dural, Quan Leslie, and.....who else? DeSean Smith might evolve into a hybrid TE/WR by next year, if we need hands.

I don't think the offense will be as prolific as it is now, but it won't be bad by any means. I've said it before...if Cam can make Randle El into a Heisman contender, he'll do the same with Jennings.

There's a reason Jennings is listed as #2 ahead of rivers this year, and as time goes on that gap between the two will only get bigger, cameron loves Jennings, he has actually come out and said that jennings is the best fit for the system he likes to run.

Personally I don't care who they select. I have the faith that the correct QB will be chosen. In previous years I think most of us sat around dreaming of something other than what we had in that position. Seems a strange path to walk these days with loving the offense and wondering about defense.

i agree w/you. Jennings, in the end, may beat him out, but I think Rivers gets a fair shake to start.

Remember this, all the kids red-shirting, not seeing playing time, are learning what Cam wants done. I have no worries about next year. Who gets bigger, who runs the best routes, who steps up, who blocks without the ball, etc.? Too many things a WR can do without the ball. More and more Cam is getting the offense where he wants it, next year is a continuation. Right now, Mett, Hill, OBJ and Landry are the four that moves the chains. Next year, people are gonna step up to the plate. Right now about the only OL that could leave is Collins, everyone else returns. This line should be ready to play and a major strength.

I would completely buy into this, had we not lost so much talent on D last year only to field...this. We thought we would just reload. Most expected us to take a couple steps back to more around the middle of the pack, but what we're seeing is just an abomination of an abortion. We'll likely have a similar exodus on the offense this year, and I'm praying for better results out of the next wave than what Chavis is getting.

Remember this Cam has seen this in the NFL more than anyone. Team numbers, injuries, pup, etc. Cam is use to having a player miss a game or so. He takes what he has an makes it work. Hes getting the best out of every player this year is a short time, can only get better with time. Most if not all of the OL should be returning, thats a great start into next year.
