Any chance Landry and/or Beckham stay one more year?

This is where I am at with everything. I don't really get upset at the defense. Otherwise I would have a coronary watching these games.

The offense is like watching the Saints play. It's crazy fun to watch us throw on people at will.

Fun this season. But with losses on offense after this season that will be of the magnitude of the defensive losses after last season, I'm apprehensive about the short term future.

LOL, just for thought : A contract is signed for a period of time (4years+) if the coach leaves early he has to buy up his contract. If a college fries the coach the schools has to pay the coach until the end of the contract . Makes sense if a player is developed by the college and he leaves early . Should he not then buy out his contract ? LOL
Question : With all the players hoping to make the pros . Do you think the pros will ever have to go to 50 teams?

No. That's what makes the NFL interesting is there's few enough teams that for the most part talent can be distributed around. If you add a ton of teams to the NFL suddenly that talent pool gets thinner. That's why we have college ball and those players on the cusp get to play for 4 years and graduate with a degree.

That is what makes CFB so interesting, the turnover on the rosters and the developing of massive amounts of new players every year.

Lsu suffered through a perfect storm this past off season by having so many underclassmen leave, but so far the team is weathering the storm fairly well. Hopefully by next season many of these young guys will improve on both offense and defense, I'm betting that they do. The transformation from year to year can be tremendous. We have had a bunch of examples of that in recent years.

So many LSU fans want to throw the baby out with the bath water but teams can't just give up on the players like fans do. In the past 10 - 15 years I bet I could name at least 25 players that many fans crapped on only to see them become integral parts of championship teams, some who even made all SEC and/or All American.

I think a lot of folks are not giving Mr. Jennings enough credit. Every thing I've read says he is a very good pocket QB with a great arm who just happens to have a good set of wheels too.

I think the big question is what our receiving corps will look like next year.

We will still have great RBs.

And with CC at OC I think our offense is in very good hands.

You know with the NFL roster limits, Cam has used what he has on the Roster in the NFL, I see him doing the same at LSU. Using what a defense gives him and taking the rest. Cams playbook looks like the Encyclopedia Britannica. We are just getting started and far from finished with this offense.

Why would you be? Cam hasn't had a full season or year at LSU. LSU had two true frosh CB's and a couple more true Frosh. in the lineup at times. You see some of the players coming in next years recruiting class. If you look at who LSU is offering on the offensive side of the ball, you can see Cams offense starting to take hold.

I do have confidence with Cam Cameron that the offense will continue to be a strong point of this team, even with a redshirt freshman QB.
