Being an Auburn fan, you should know it's Busch League. That is what the visiting recruits said...I wouldn't like it if I were you... I didn't say a thing about 'roids.
I have read many accounts by "eye-witnesses" to this event. Most are all over the board. Any time the big'uns start to tussle it won't be pretty and someone might get hurt. It is always a laugher till then. A lot of folk describe an occurrence in a manner that fits with the end result. Someone lying on the ground couldn't possibly be the result of an ordinary fight, of course if no one was hurt... Our Freshman QB (Should still be in HS till May) picked up a senior LB and body slammed him in the same scrimmage. Attempted manslaughter or an embarrassing moment for the senior LB? Was the action warranted, no. But I was glad to see it. Have to work to rein in a temper, but that is easier than teaching someone to be a warrior. If you are not a warrior in the SEC you will be lunch.
This is from Rivals.com, relating to NCAA rule changes. I think the NFL is looking at it too: I think they should call this the "Dorsey Rule." Here is another "definitional" tidbit:
How many other teams in the SEC do you think committed a chop block this year, called or not, intentional or not? It is not as rare as some folk want to believe.
I qualified my post Caddy. I only repeated what I heard from some gumpers since nobody at my office with Aub ties would talk about it.
I never said such blocks are rare. However, I do believe the publicity surrounding the block on Dorsey may have been a motivating factor leading to the rule change. All the best, X
