https://reason.com/2020/04/01/virginia-man-shoots-an-active-robber-in-store-is-arrested-himself/ Apparently in Virginia, it's against the law to defend yourself and your property. Wife had Tucker on the TV tonight, I heard this story and went to check it out. Apparently the robber are released and cleared while the guy defnding himslef and the store is under house arrest. I've got to stop watching any news. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=910121439469226
When I first saw this, I was pissed, but there's a little more to it. It sucks that the robbers where somehow cleared, which I don't get at all, but the shooter was, according to police, under a previous order to not legally possess a firearm. That's probably why he was arrested. And it wasn't the store owner, It was an employee. I still don't agree with it, but it does add some context.
And people all over the neighborhood had seen this bastard skulking around the area for over a week. But everyone was afraid to call the police because they didn't want to seem racist. For that matter, would the police have actively questioned a black man...or would they have been afraid of being accused of racism, too?
you gotta do whats right. this pc bullshit may have cost her her life. protect your family but we all must speak truth lest we lose it all.
It's very frustrating that multiple people have reported seeing him lurking around, especially the night before the murder.
