My point is Miles mismanages the QB; hard to criticize the players, or the fans calling out the coach for not playing the right QB.

 

And apparently a sports hernia which speaks volumes about either Miles or Jennings, take your pick.

 

I think he can and will get better. However if he doesn't improve any, not one little bit, he is still better than Jennings

Tirk my comment had nothing, zero, nada to do with QB development. My comments are about the irrationality of so many on this board. They will complain about Les favoring Jennings over Harris one year; saying that AJ is incompetent and BH the second coming, then bitch about Jennings leaving because he could have been good.
See if you can get that idee fixe out of your head.

 

QB Dee-vel-up-mint!!! If a true freshman struggles, don't mean they gonna suck as a senior. If a QB is struggling, maybe they shouldn't be left on the field quarter after quarter, game after game, without sitting a little while. Shitty QB play for 10 years or so is ridiculous. Ree-dick-you-lus!

 

I know exactly what it was about. Most discuss lack of qb development/shitty offense and realize (most took forever) that this is on les. You still defend him at most all costs and have some really weird irrationality blaming the fans who do.

People look to the backup because they are looking for hope that maybe les miles really isnt such a cancer on offense because its so surreal the shit he does that you cant fathom a hc is that stupid. But he is. Doesnt matter who the backup is. that simply the reality of a decade of being somewhere near the bottom of the sec in passing. his indoctrination is incurable.

Now people blaming him for beckwiths injury or any other was a place to defend miles. blaming the hc for injuries on almost any level is stupid. but thats a reach due to frustration with the big hatted one. kinda like when your wife wont give it up, figuratively speaking. Youre just angry at her for everything and she deserves the shit she gets. les deserves all the shit he gets regarding the passing game. as does the wife.

@tirk Did you read any of my posts in the last year and a half? After 2014 I made several posts saying Les needed to change and produce if he were to remain. After the 3 week disaster in November I said it was time for him to go I haven't defended his coaching in nearly 2 years. In fact I agree he needs to win the west, beat the Gumps and get to the playoffs next year if he is to be retained.
When I have done is despise and comment on the hateful personal attacks on the man by a few. I've also as in this case pointed out the great and twisted lengths some have gone to to blame him or find fault in everything. I'm tired of the 'chicken little' woe is me disaster mavens who populate this board.
There is a great difference between pointing out these things and defending Les as a coach. I wish you'll recognize that.

 

So in what posts did you say you thought Jennings had promise to be a SEC level QB????? Come on people be honest with yourselves. You all have said time and again Jennings doesn't have the tools or talent to be. SEC level QB. What changed since he decided to leave?????
Yes QB development has sucked but that has nothing to do with the comments being made here.
