    Anthony Jennings To Transfer. What It Means For LSU
    With Anthony Jennings transferring from LSU, now Brandon Harris doesn’t have to look over his shoulder anymore. But that means the pressure is really on.

    Reported by SECCountry.com, LSU QB Anthony Jennings, who was missing from the start of spring ball, has been granted is release and will transfer.


    There was some thought that Jennings – a tremendously talented prospect who saw time as a true freshman and appeared to be ready to blossom after starting most of the season as a sophomore – was going to provide a push this spring for the starting gig. But Harris established himself last season, and now, going into his third year this is his passing game and his job.

    Purdue transfer Danny Etling will now be the No. 2 guy in the mix, and while he’s not Jennings and doesn’t have the talent or skills, should be solid enough to take over if Harris falters or gets hurt.....

    He probably left because there was no battle for a starting role. Who the hell wants to battle for the backup spot? Anyone see anything that tells you Harris should be the clear cut starter next season? I sure as hell didn't. I don't think this has anything to do with Etling and everything to do with Harris.
