Well, LMAO beating up two people in a bar and robbing one of them is a felony and his second strike this year. Violent crime. He's gone. The other situation is a bit confusing so far. But the charges are interesting. Thomas was charged with Burglary which is a fairly serious crime. But Unauthorized Entry into an inhabited dwelling is relatively minor one. Less serious than the felonies of Burglary and Home Invasion, but more serious than the misdemeanor of simple Trespassing. Burglary in Louisiana In Louisiana, burglary is defined as entering or remaining in an occupied structure without the legal right to do so, with the intent of committing a felony or theft inside. Unauthorized Entry into a Dwelling Unauthorized entry is defined as entering an inhabited dwelling without authorization to do so. The difference is that unauthorized entry does not require an intent to commit another crime. Instead, merely entering (or remaining unlawfully) in a dwelling qualifies as unauthorized entry. Apparently there were six people. One entered forcibly with intent to commit another crime (Thomas charged with Burglary). Two others simply entered the apartment without authorization (Jennings and Bain charged with unauthorized entry). And three others were not charged and probably stayed outside. Thomas, if convicted, will probably be dismissed. Bain and Jennings . . . it depends on the prosecutor and judge and whatever actually happened. If their involvement was limited to following Thomas into the apartment, the charges could be reduced to trespassing, a misdemeanor. They will only receive a suspension for that.
It is bad , and yes they make the paper during the game , we need to know what they are off the field .
