i know you righties probably have never read The Nation, but I found this article interesting. This is definitely an issue where the right and left can come together. http://www.thenation.com/blog/15940...ngs-army”-ten-calls-congress-debate-about-war This was a quote from Roscoe Bartlett (R) Congressman Maryland. 5 months ago I would have said that there is no way in hell Obama doesn't win the 2012 election in a landslide. I'm wavering now.
It will all be about the economy. If the economy is doing better then Obama will be seen as successful. If the economy continues to falter then republicans have a better chance. Most people will vote with their bank account in mind. Then there are people like you and I who already know who we will or won't vote for.
I agree the economy will be a huge issue, probably THE issue, however, I think alot of people on the left feel hornswoggled by this President, at least I do.
The problem with Economy as the issue is that the GOVT isn't the economy. The GOVT gets in the way of the economy.
This is untrue. We are in far better shape than most nations. Our total wealth is huge. Friggin' huge. "They" are all out to get us. There is a word for this behavior.
