South FL loses to Pitt at home, 21 to 26. I have no interest in playing a Thursday night ESPN game.

We did not do too bad last year on Thursday night against MSU.

There is definitely a Thursday night curse, especially ESPN. The past 2 years have been horrible for big favorites.

Looks like Versus is trying to get a piece of that action.

Werd. I fail to understand the love fest with South Florida. They did the same thing last year. Week 7 they are #2. Season ends and you can't find them any where in the top 25. They are a building program but still a couple years away from finding their swagger.

I agree. There was no excuse for the lack of emotion in USFs play last night.

Grothe made the most indicting remark of the coaching staff when he said after the game that Pitt looked to be more prepared. He said that Pitt did nothing that USF had prepared for. Unbelievable.

Oh well, if they win out, chance are they can still go to a BCS Bowl, which would be great for them.

Pitt was in the top 25 in preseason and for a good reason. This is a solid team.

USF was rated a bit too high at this point in the season.

It's not like USF got crushed like Georgia. They played a reasonable game but just got beat by the better team. That's what I took from it.
