I'm sure we are tired of hearing about "what if" and "who is going to take over", but i'm going to talk about it some more. I don't think the horse is dead yet, it might need a good whack or two. I was listening to Cowherd interviewing Miles today on ESPN radio. I have to say Miles is very determined to win here and is focused on a NC, but when he spoke about the Michigan vs Ohio st. rivalry it seemed like he lit up. He was very excited about that topic. He was pretty nonchalant about the LSU questions but when asked about Bo Schembeclehamburgerman he sounded like a 12 year old meeting Dorsey. He went on and on about playing for Schembeckleburgerking and how that impacted his life and so forth. And he has every right to do so, he is A MICHIGAN MAN. That was his life and probably will be in the future. Miles is a good coach and good man but he will be offered his oppurtunity of a lifetime, and he isnt going to let it pass him. You can say all you want about Michigan sucking and LSU being so much better, but for who, us? OR would Michigan be better for MILES. I'll leave that at that. Now going back to who will coach LSU next year I have a gut feeling that it will be Chris Peterson of Boise st. I know he was shopping for the UCLA gig but why go to a crap school that can't compete in the Pac-10 when you could coach at top tier SEC school. Peteson is a great coach doing what he can with middle of the pack players. I am concered about his defensive game though but i'm not the one writing checks at the AD. Well thanks for readin' my rant. SCOUTS OUT!:geauxtige
I believe a dead horse just got deader! I only say that becuase a true scout knows tankers rule, but thanks for looking out!!! GEAUX ARMY :thumb:
Imagine what he'd be like running a team with all this talent....I'm sure he has! He might be an interesting choice. After last year we know he's got a pair on him! ldskule:
I think most SEC teams would have a tough time taking down BSU's offense. I also think most SEC teams would roll right over BSU's defense. Now IF all those spots were filled with LSU's players? Well, that team might not put up 60 points every week...but it would be exciting to watch.:thumb: BHD
The last time Boise State faced an SEC team they didn't fare very well. And, if I remember correctly, it was a down year for Georgia.
It better not be Peterson from Boise State. If LSU doesn't go out and get Rodriguez, Tedford, Butch Davis, Del Rio.......then they will be very sorry. Peterson has won in a weak conference Dan Hawkins players my friends. It isn't a damned coincidence that every coach the last 10 years has won at Boise State. Not just Peterson but all of them. They better set their sights higher. I'd like to see Rodriguez' offense in the SEC....in fact we already are with Urban Meyer and Florida. Rich knows Louisiana already and to me is the perfect choice if Miles leaves.
What the hell has Tedford done special? He always seems to dissappoint in the end after all the hype at the beginning of the season. No thanks.
