I could care less if we finish 120th in total offense, dont ruin a shot a SEC title, BSC bowl because we are not happy with our offense. If I understand what you are saying, and we may not get either of what i posted above this year, but what you are saying is to take a 4-0 start, and go ahead and lose a few games during the growing pains of bringing in a new QB and a new OC mid season!!! Thats just crazy!
Wait till you get the first loss with sub 300 yards offense. The fanboys will be crying because they ignored the obvious. It reminds me of the Karate Kid part 2, the guy setup Ralph to think he was doing good chopping wood and such for training, when in fact all he was doing was chopping wood. LSU has the talent to get 8-10 wins without an offense, not going to be a SEC championship without major changes. Sorry you don't go from worse in offense for two year to even average in a few weeks.
You are not going to get either with an offense that can't get first downs. Sorry. Sooner you cut the cord with crowton the better, either now or 4 months from now. Choice is Les and AD, not mine.
Id rather our first loss come with what we have rather than blowing a few games hoping a new QB & new OC will help us finish strong. I think we should just work on what we have and finish with what we have. Save all the offseason hiring & firing for the offseason
