    Way too many stories of walk ons and transfers becoming great players. People change from high school. Some change physically some mentally to become D1 timber. The Sale kid looks good the Aycock looks better. Be happy we have these guys.

    War chickens starting QB was running the scout team for a high school before last season...

    Not Stidham, he was starter at Baylor before he got his bell rung and the Art Bryles fiasco

    Well no one offered Brett Farve a QB scholarship other that USL and Southern Miss. Texas and Texas A&M didnt offer Drew Brees a scholarship although he played HS ball in Texas. We all know the rest of the story.

    Also the name Jake Delhomme ring a bell?

    Not what I was saying... He was running the scout team for a high school... No game action, not even at a CC... Point being people discrediting Joe just because he's a transfer makes no sense... Yeah, we don't know what he's going to do for us until he plays, but to assume it'll be a negative just because he's a transfer is beyond ridiculous...

    Walk-on QBs become viable backups if you have coaches to develop them...
