    So, what's the GOP answer to parade shootings?

    - Only one entrance, guarded with an armed teacher?
    - Metal detectors at all the entrances to the parade?
    - Armed guards all along the parade route?
    - Bulletproof vests for all attendees and float riders?
    - Arm all the float riders?

    What's the Democrat answer? Remember Waukesha.....a gun ban won't stop someone motivated by hate or afflicted with a mental problem from finding another weapon.

    Gun control.
    A gun ban would certainly reduce the number of incidents. Our homicide rate is 14 times the average of advanced countries because our homicide rate by gun is 25 times.

    Will you never acknowledge the simple fact that a lawless person doesn't give a damn how many gun laws you pass? As for a ban, sure, in a fantasy world if we can snap our fingers and make every gun vanish today, gun violence would disappear. But in the real world, a gun ban is impossible. There are too many and every lawless person will only give up their guns with an accompanying bloodbath. And I suspect there will also be some bloodbaths from some of the law-abiding but fanatical "cold, dead hands" types. You think Trump caused this. I say its the "defund the police" and "what do we want? Dead cops now!" movement that has emboldened so many punks to bring us to the verge of anarchy. There is a disturbing trend to completely disrespect law, law enforcement and our fellow man in general, and law abiding gun owners did not start this.
