It's pretty uppity of UNC to think they're Michigan.

"Sources said starting defensive tackle Marvin Austin, starting defensive end Robert Quinn and starting linebacker Bruce Carter were among the players who were relegated to the scout team."

    Those are some good players!

    From Cbsports: OMG!

That same tutor, according to reports from ESPN's Joe Schad and Inside Carolina's Greg Barnes, also (inexplicably) served as the nanny for UNC head coach Butch Davis.

A source has also told CBSSports.com that two players, cornerbacks Charles Brown and Kendrick Burney, have already been kicked off of the football team.

"At this time, we cannot confirm whether or not those dismissals will be announced during Thursday night's press conference.

Additionally, the same source told CBSSports.com that "four players have been cleared and the rest are toast" -- meaning four of the defensive starters on Carolina's team. "

don't most universities these days have policies on cheating that would include being kicked out of the university for cheating (as opposed to just being kicked off of the f'ball team)?
