Its not acceptable and if you agree with this exec order, effectively you are saying blacks are a dumber race. I thought we were trying to see them as equal. However, the lowest common denominator does affect everyone and should not be ignored. I think something needs to be done but it certainly will not be fixed by the government no matter how much money is thrown at it. In fact, its proven to do the opposite by creating less incentive with more handouts to feel better about itself. And the other races are following suit regarding single-parent homes. Hispanics cant be too far behind. correct, it is clearly counterproductive to the cause of equality. even if you are not as racist as i am, you are taught to be racist by policy that positively implies that a specific group is inferior. and incidentally, one of my best new york friends is chinese. he is always laughing at and trying to avoid asian stereotypes. he just had a kid and is arguing with his wife because he is trying really hard to not do the typical asian things. his wife is already signing the kid up for classical music lessons. i mock him and say i hope he enjoys when his daughter is a math major at MIT. he says "no, maybe she will be a soccer star at north carolina". no chance. asians love math!

true enough. my friend was born in an incredibly poor part of china but moved here when he was 10. he remembers the poverty and it motivates him. he mocks me for my american laziness, and i remind him of your point, his great grandkids will love nascar.
