    That's not asking too much.

I agree, with all the revenue streaming into this university, we should be doing better in the other 2 sports.

Brady is an decent coach, actually. He is a defensive guru of sorts. But his offenses have always been without identity. I think LSU wins the national title 2 years ago if Brady were much more adept on the offensive side of the ball.

He's an 18-12 coach. That's about it on average. Every once in a while he'll make a push in the big dance (2 seasons he has done that) and on other occasions he will stink up the joint.

I wish we would push for a better basketball program myself. I loved the Dale Brown years for the most part. Although Dale was certainly no genius himself.

Bingo. I remember a 2nd half meltdown against UT in Miles' first year and fans were ready to put a for sale sign in his front yard. And many were hoping he'd take the Michigan job after the Arky loss.

And yet people continue to defend Brady. I'd say our expectations are a bit different in basketball.

I can only hope our new AD takes a new approach with basketball. Give them the support and resources to succeed. Hold Brady to the same standards we hold our football and baseball coaches. Who knows, we might actually pull a Florida and be a pretty good basketball program, too.

You get what you pay for...

I was dead tired in bed trying to watch the end of the game. When we fouled the 3 point shot I looked at the score and how much time and said to myself "There is no was this team will lose this game" and turned out the lights. I just checked the score and can't believe it. I hope this game becomes the rallying point for a turnaround. This is a young team with a lot of games to go. The talent seems to be there. It's up to Coach to get it done.

Exactly, 4 point plays will kill any team. One of the fouls wasn't by a young player either.

This is the guy making the Florida comments. I have been a big supporter of CLM and I won't be back asking for his head if we don't win the big game. I am SURE of that. :) Come on, the comment was typed in fun. I even put a smiley face at the end.

Brady did screw that game up. he called timeouts during the wrong parts of the game. They dont know how to be a full court trap. Its almost guarenteed when you beat a fc trap. you have a 3 on 1 or 2 and a layup. You think Brad exploited this? No he didnt, he went conservative, like Jimbo Fisher was on the court with him. You attack a trap, dont sit back and let it happen to you.
you pass out of a trap or you get your fasted guard to beat it. Ive been playing and coach ball for years. I havent seen bad coaching like that in a while.

Dude, it isn't a coincidence that the players from the that 1 Final Four trip were gift wrapped to him by Collis Temple. Other than getting players donated to him by Temple, what has he done? Answer that one.

It isn't too much to ask to have a good enough team to make the NCAA Tourney every year.....and I mean every year. Brown went 12 straight years at a time when SEC basketball was way more compettive than it is now. Brandy doesn't have to get the Final Four every year or ever for that matter. But he needs to get to the dance every year and compete....not finish last in his conference every other year. That's a joke. Also, he's been there 10 seasons now and he still doesn't have a bench. He plays 7 players for the most part and still complains about not having a bench. Who's fault is this after 10 years dude?

Brady is terrible. I want him gone.

There was a timeout where LSU could assemble before Nova scored that last basket (around 15 seconds left i believe). LSU inbounds with 5 or so seconds left WITH A TIMEOUT. No timeout was called. HOw in the hell did Brady not tell his players. Made basket or not, call a timeout when you get it - this should have been told to them when they huddled with 15 seconds left.

That is junior high level strategy. I hope that timeout in his pocket and a quarter buys him a nice warm cup of jack squat this morning.

Skip - replace the jowls with someone credible please.

Don't give me these guys are young baloney. Those young players build a 21 point lead and are athletes. They've been playing for years. Brady should have them disciplined to not lunge at 3 point shooters in the last 5 minutes of a game.

There is plenty of Louisiana basketball talent, they just usually end up leaving the state.
