I think your worries are dead on. WKU is no slouch, coming off Florida, 6th home game in a row although one LSU was the away team, the good thing though is the bye week after, so maybe they aren't looking ahead to Bama because they get that week off. But WKU is probably better than all 5 teams LSU has played thus far.

yep ive been following those hilltoppers a bit and they seem to keep improving each week. and i was thinking they may be as good as anyone we've played to this point. they put up 52 in the first half against middle tennessee who isnt complete shit. they beat vandi and la tech. they also smoked two nobodies. they lost to indiana by 3 who took OSU to the wire. yeah this team is not going to go quietly into the tiger night.

Not to mention they have a scrimmage this week with North Texas who fired their coach a week ago, while LSU plays arguably the 2nd most physical team they will face all year. LSU is gonna be beat up, could be the perfect storm. I will say this, I love the fact that Guice has established himself as a guy who can not only be a backup to Fournette, but be a legitimate starter anywhere in the country.

WKU has scored at least 35 in every game sans Vandy. And the most they have given up was 38 to a pretty decent Indiana team on the road.

I don't think there is any doubt they are better than Syracuse, and Eastern Michigan. I think they are better than Carolina and Auburn. Maybe they aren't better than MSST but I bet they could beat Mississippi State.

you're not going to like our energy level for this game either. its not going to be great for the reasons you mentioned. unless we are coming off a loss. then it could go either way. but with bama on deck and UF in front, it spells trap. our secondary is going to have to improve quickly.

Not to worry, the V.I. will be along with a quote about Bobby Patrino and some stat about an obscure conference and records at Baton Rouge.

    Wait for it
