The SEC West is tough and unpredictable. Not even Bama can pick its losses and wins confidently. Nobody really expects them to take it to the house this year. Amigo, if he picks them all for LSU and LSU wins 78% under Les, then statistically his streak HAS to be 78%. Damn right. Parity at a high level is a bitch. Some very good teams in the SEC West will lose over half of its division games. It is for this reason that expectation of 12 wins every season is unrealistic. Luck and scheduling play huge roles in the final record. Youth and key injuries can leave any team in trouble.
So you're not worried at all about R Kansas, Ole Piss or Moo U? They will just roll over and let the Tigers score at will.
Nobody fears anyone, people are just being logical not blinded. Arkansas beat the fuck out of us last year with a team that hadn't won an SEC game in over a season and a half. Parity son, look it up.
It's not what this board has come to. It's what our football program has come to combined with more parity in the SEC West. It's not fear but nobody can be taken lightly like in the past when StarkVegas was a sure win.
We've been fielding bad ass recruiting classes for years hasn't stopped Bama, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Florida, Georgia and Miss State from beating us here and there. Supreme Talent alone will get you around 8 wins a season. Sound familiar?
So wait, you think if LSU hauls in a 1st ranked class the Tigers are gonna be that much better than the 2nd or 3rd or 4th ranked class? I could have the best weed on earth but it ain't gonna do shit if I don't know how to smoke it.
In a manner of speaking the 'Backs do exactly that on offense. Don't underestimate that offensive line at UArk.
He isn't a troll, he just is. (That likely fits me, too.) Going back to the subject at hand... It wouldn't shock me at all if: On Dec. 1st we're looking at the two teams about to play in ATL and there's five losses combined in their regular season records.
