You must be an old lady if decades are short periods of time. I dont care what Bama fans do. I've never asked for Miles to be fired. Just get QB development equal to the elite level of the rest of the program. Lack of talent at WR is not the problem Your face is bleeding. Again, WR's were not the problem last year. Again, no one asked for the 2013 offense. We did ask for a QB who could throw. There is a big difference in the Mett's style and ability vs the Jefferson brothers. Miles just likes running QB's who seemingly cant run or throw well.
You know the OOC wins carried more weight when Miles was winning bowl games. He started losing those and that stat changed to OOC regular season wins, when loses one of those it will change to regular season OOC home game wins, and when he loses one of those it will change to regular season OOC games at night when tiger stadium sells Abita on discount or something.
Lack of talent at WR is not the problem Again, WR's were not the problem last year.
Talent doesn't equal production Pride. Yes the WRs have talent but if They're not strong enough to get off of the line or not where they're supposed to be because they ran the route wrong or ran the wrong route or were blocking when they should have been looking for a pass then what limits the QB has are made worse. Rather than throw to a spot or be prepared to throw the QB has to make sure the WR is where he's supposed to be. That lack of confidence in the WR is deadly to a young QB. It reduces the time he has to make the decision and avoid a sack. It takes BOTH QB & WR to make a good passing attack. Even experienced and talented QBs don't have a connection with their WRs they struggle. Look to the past when Wendal Davis graduated and Tommy Hodson had talented but inexperienced receivers his production dropped significantly. Also Mett's junior year when Landry and ODBjr were inexperienced the production was limited. Yes the QB play wasn't good enough last year...not by a mile. However to lay ALL the problems on Jennings is just being asinine and mulish.
Long enough to know you need something thrown in your face...occasionally. Would you prefer...say, daily?
I'm on the fence. I believe he deserves credit for a lot of things, running a clean program, being respected by his players, being a good representative of the school and bleeding purple and gold even though he is really a maise and blue guy. Being the only coach in the SEC that's beaten Alabama more than once, 3 SEC west championships and 1 national championship, all great accomplishments. But the qb play for 5 out of the last 7 years has really been the downfall, and the downward trending record, has me wondering if Les' greatness at LSU has long since passed.
irregularities Are you telling me that @uscvball knew that one? Ya know, the lexicon is defined as "an appendix of grammar, a list of basic irregularities." Irregularities- Certainly fits me. You?
