i'm with nootch as well. who wants to pay $50, plus the cost of tailgating to see LSU play the NSU demons? i can somewhat understand McNeese since they're usually perennially ranked in FCS, but northwestern state? i say schedule a bye-week and have an LSU fan-day at the stadium where they show highlights on the big screen and have games and entertainment and charge $50. :hihi:
which, as you know, beat MCHS. i don't like central catholic at all -- not even a tiny bit-- but i thought that was funny. EDIT - i can't believe that my 4,500th post was talking about MCHS/CCHS. ouch.
That right there makes our schedule harder! :hihi: But seriously, I think OOC games against UNC and WVU are solid. I think UNC is on the rise and depending on how WVU does tonight against Auburn could turn out to be quite a nice game next season. The SEC schedule is tough enough and like Bandit said, you just want to schedule respectible opponents for most of your OOC games (UNC and WVU are just that) that COULD pose as a problem. Throw in McNeese and another Louisiana school and you have the games designed to get more players game experience.
That may be so, but that's what kept Auburn out of the NC one year. Condon said LSU is racist, maybe that's the reason. Seems doable to me. But maybe it isn't on short notice. Well, they also never play more than one ranked team a year. Which is fine, just schedule 1a teams.
