I was sorry to hear of Tulane losing Fritz to UofH. He did a great job there. Between UofH hiring Fritz and A&M getting Elko, I would say that the Cougars got the more proven of the two. Nothing against Elko, but I hope he flames out in 4-5 years so that the Aggies can open a new delusional episode to their pitiful existence.
Tulane did Willie Fritz wrong. Not the school, the fans. Imagine having a shit show program for that long, then you get a coach who gets you to your conference championship and a potential NYD bowl two years in a row, you're hosting the conference championship game that will put you in the Fiesta Bowl if you win, and they're having to give away tickets to put butts in the seats? Are you kidding?
