Don't know but this is the second fatal hit and run in recent weeks. A woman (driving on a suspended license) ran a red light and hit two USC students in a crosswalk, killing one of them. The other student flew in the air and landed on the hood of the car, staying there while the driver went another 500 feet or so. Witnesses saw the car stop, a male passenger get out, and throw the student's body onto the sidewalk before leaving the scene. Turns out the passenger was the husband and their 7 month old baby was in the backseat.......at 3AM.

Claudia Cabrera has been arrested but her husband is MIA and so is the car. I get the feeling that the media is not reporting on their status in terms of citizenship.

The driver was on a suspended license for a prior DUI. Fullerton PD said he was over the limit last night.

This is why I don't drink and drive. I could not handle having ruined so many lives.

If convicted on all counts, he could spend 55 yrs to life in prison.

He should get the death penalty, he doesn't deserve to live after this. But I guess the death penalty isn't an option in California?

Seriously? The death penalty? He should certainly go to prison, but he didn't intend to kill these people.
