I would not be surprised to see the Braves go get Glavine now, but two 40 year old pitchers may be too much.

But where will Andruw end up?

Glavine wanted to come back last year but the Braves didn't want him. The only way he signs with the Braves is a sign and retire contract.

Not too surprising. Jones was asking for a huge contract and has clearly lost a step from his peak. He's not the defensive guy he's been in the past and is living off his reputation.

He's been a great Brave and it has been a great 11 years.

not surprised at all, and nor do I really care, and it's sad I say that because he has been my fav player for years, but at this point anything that moves Matt Diaz closer to being an everyday player is something I like.

The sad thing about Jones is he could have been a sure fire HOF if he wasn't so damn big headed and hit the ball the other way instead of trying to pull everything. The Braves would've probably resigned him too but at this point he's gone and I am not to sad to see him go.

He is anyways and the Braves knew two years ago they weren't going to resign him.

Doubtful. Jacoby Ellsbury is going to replace Coco.

If he don't put up better numbers the rest of his career he's not going in the HOF. I know he is still young but he sure had a bad year this year. As of right now he is not even close to HOF numbers. I don't think he would get in on defense alone as picky as the baseball voters are.

He has never been an average guy, but still put up decent numbers while not necessarily hitting the ball.. If he continues that he'll he in the Hall. His defense is slowing down dramatically with age though.
