Just to lighten the mood a little bit, I honestly wish I were making this up, but there's just no way I ever could:

    Link to Rivals

Though not quite as fabulous as their "Derelicte" line, these do have a certain "je ne sais quoi" reminiscent of the "Blue Steel" and "Magnum" looks.

ugly uni's aren't the reason they won't win...or is it?

Football fashion tip #1....say "no" to duckwings on the shoulder pads!

I like the fact that the players have a choice and say so in what they wear...people at LSU probably wouldn't like what the players would choose though.

You may be right, but then again, I always get the sense that our players have a deep appreciation of the tradition they represent.

Coaching staffs and ADs have a LOT to do with this. If the coaches don't value tradition and heritage, then the players won't either IMO.

The fan base, former players, big boosters - they all care about tradition.

Yet another reason CLM is perfect for LSU - he gets this. In spades.
