I don't see why Les Miles doesn't ban Twitter for all his players. What possible good can come from it? Absolutely nothing. As far as this Crewe dude, doesn't he have better things to do than blast a young man who didn't have a father in his life, and was brought up in poverty? I will never go to his website again.
While that is a logical response, to take something away you see as a problem. It is very narrow way to deal with things, and in the long run would hurt the university and the team. Teaching the kids how to use social media in a responsible way would be a much better alternative. Banning social media would drive recruits away in the long run imo.
Ok, valid point, what happens if the kids continue to abuse social media and depict themselves in a negaitive manner. If it depicts them in a negative manner, it also depicts the University in a negative manner, (which it shouldn't but that's the world we live in), and rights should at least be suspended if abused. I mean it's not like this is something they are going to be banned for life from. It should at least be up to the coaches discretion, and I don't know if it would be that negative. I mean I doubt we will see a mutiny if twitter is taken away. We are talkinga about student athletes rights to social media, not the right to smoke pot by American citizens.
You talk it, you walk it. Implying all this greatest about oneself, pressure, pressure, pressure. Can see it separating a lot of D-players on your own team who may beg to differ. In short, one's head must be screwed on straight to make straight paths to Miami.
I wouldn't fear him either if he was misused and made the 2nd corner. I would fear him if he was roaming around in the defensive backfield. And anyone who doesn't have their eyes on number 7 before the ball is snapped is an idiot.
I feared Mo Claiborne. He was good enough to take half the field away. That alone can give you license to roam with impunity. 2nd corner-back, should be interesting
